We will be open Monday to Friday 12-3 and 6-closing. On Tuesday the kitchen is closed all day & bar only will open at 6pm. Food served 12-2 Mon-SAT, 12-3 Sun & every evening 6-9. Weekend open all day for drinks

One can trust – there is a permanent One Can Trust donation box in the pub lobby. Please do help this local charity.
Book exchange – there is a table in the lobby for you to drop off your books & pick up another you may fancy reading.
Quiz nights – every 3rd Wednesday in the month at 8pm. £3 per team member to play & max 6 persons per team. £20 cash prize to winning team. All monies raised on the night will go to a charity chosen by the winning team. It is essential to book a table for the quiz & food will be served. Next quiz night is 19th November 2025 at 8pm.
Bingo night – Wednesday 26th November. Eyes down 8pm to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Society.
Festive menu – available on line to view now. Bookings being taken for the festive season. Christmas menus will run from Monday 1st December through to Christmas Eve.
Christmas tree lighting ceremony – Monday 1st December outside the pub. Mulled wine & mince pies served.
Christmas raffle – will run from 1st December to Christmas Eve. Tickets are £2 each & all monies raised will go towards Fragile X Society – a charity that supports this rare genetic condition. Top prize a luxury food hamper.
Festive sing a long with Steve Bird – Friday 5th December a firm favourite with so many customers & a night guaranteed to get you in the Christmas spirit. Music starts 8.30pm.
Carol singing – Monday 15th December at 7.30pm we will be joined by our friends from St Mary Magdalene Church for a night of festive carols – a night not to be missed.
Boxing Day Quiz – will start at 8pm. Booking is advised – ideal way to escape the Christmas telly & catch up with friends & neighbours.
We now sell Casa Defra Prosecco by normal bottle £20.00 and 20 cl bottle £9.00 – perfect when you’re in the mood for bubbles!
We are now selling a small selection of wines from a local run company Lloyds Wines where the highest quality wines are imported exclusively to the UK from the small producers of France, Italy & Spain for the discerning customer.
Local Grover’s Cider from Kimble now on sale at the Hampden Arms. £4.50 per bottle. (6% abv).
